In addition to being a Managing Partner at BR4 KLOTZ, Juan Carlos is Founder of BR4 Quaestum Capital, a Private Equity Firm focused on Real Estate Investments in Mexico and the U.S. and has been a serial entrepreneur across several industries. Over the past 6 years he has focused on real estate development primarily in Mexico. Through his strategic partnerships with developers in Mexico, such as COMVIVE and Desarrollos ECO, he has participated in the structuring, capital raising, construction and selling of over 3,800 properties across the country.

Jeff Klotz

Managing Partner

Jeff Klotz is a Managing Partner at BR4 KLOTZ and is responsible for providing oversight for firmwide strategic initiatives, investor relations, fund administration, and asset management.

In addition to being a Managing Partner at BR4 KLOTZ, Jeff is currently the founding principal of the Klotz Group of Companies – A Vertically Integrated Private Equity Platform. The Klotz Group, its principals and affiliates have acquired and operated over one-hundred and twenty-five thousand units across various sectors. In addition to acquisitions, the group has been responsible for the completion of forty-three development projects across various states and renovation of over seventy-five thousand units. Jeff accomplished this by employing over one-thousand one-hundred professionals and raising over seven-hundred and fifty million dollars’ worth of equity contributions.

Jeff attended the University of Florida and holds various real-estate related licenses including being a registered broker in multiple states throughout the Southeast United States.

Hayner has a profound comprehension of the real estate market in the Southeast and has positioned himself as a prominent investor in multifamily properties, utilizing his expertise to spot and take advantage of lucrative investment prospects that yield substantial profits. Hayner has been directing his family's real estate investment portfolio for the past 10 years. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, he has primarily focused on investing in the multi-family sector, as well as commercial and self-storage properties across Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, and Florida.

Hayner has focused on spearheading Business Development at his family's company, Texas Brine Company, LLC, which is the largest brine producer and privately held salt storage company in North America. Texas Brine's storage operations represent over 30 million barrels of NGLs, 70 bcf of natural gas, and 7 million barrels of crude.

With over 20 years’ experience, he has served on the leadership teams of multiple institutionally backed investment fund service platforms with a focus on the Residential Housing Industry. with a particular emphasis on providing firmwide strategic advice and organizational support to the management of the organization, drawing on his extensive experience in the private equity real estate sector.

Through his expertise in private equity real estate and focus on multifamily properties in the Southeast, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to BR4 KLOTZ. As a real estate investor himself, Albert has a deep understanding of the Southeast's real estate market. He has established himself as a leading investor in multifamily properties, helping to identify and capitalize on investment opportunities that generate significant returns.

Andrew Hagaman

Vice President

Primarily responsible for managing our lending relationships, structuring our capital stack, and leading the investment process of various acquisitions and development projects.

Before joining the BR4 KLOTZ team, Andrew was with CBRE’s Boca Raton based Debt and Structured Finance team. Working across multiple asset classes for institutional and private clients, his primary responsibility was to lead and manage the underwriting and due diligence efforts with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS Lenders, life companies, and national banks. Andrew joined CBRE from his similar role at Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation. Additionally, Andrew has also held a role at Office Depot, Inc. where he managed their daily global cash position of over one billion dollars and has had roles with The State of Florida in various capacities.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance (B.S.) from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Finance (MSF) from Florida Atlantic University.

Bret Holmes is the Chief Financial Officer for BR4 KLOTZ and is responsible for overseeing fund administration through Juniper Square, investor relations, and capital raising activities. Prior to joining BR4 KLOTZ, Bret brings over 30 years of successful executive leadership across various funds and companies.

He has extensive knowledge and experience in mergers and acquisitions, SEC compliance, and capital raising. This also includes working with investment banks regarding transactions, taking companies public, and providing financial strategies for over ten-thousand units. Bret is a graduate of the University of Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Chief Legal Officer

As Chief Legal Officer, Koko Head brings his 37 years of broad legal experience in the Southeastern United States with an emphasis on the real estate sector to support and grow the multifamily development focus of BR4 KLOTZ. His daily roles include the acquisition, development, and financing of real estate assets, as well as addressing construction law, commercial leasing, and review of title/survey matters. Additionally, he handles all corporate governance, contract and HR, as well as all internal legal matters including management of outside counsel. An ambitious professional with experience and success in business development, sales, and sales management with specific focus in Marketing, Advertising and Real Estate. Over his tenure in the real estate industry, he has developed a strong entrepreneurial spirit and building on his sales career and attributes his success to an unrivaled work ethic and desire to succeed by achieving BR4 KLOTZ objectives as a Fund Manager focused on the Multifamily Industry focused in the Southeastern United States.

Koko Head has been practicing law for 37 years with an emphasis on real estate matters. He graduated from Brigham Young University (BA 1981) and Drake University Law School (JD 1984). He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a Northeast Florida resident since 1988 where he practiced commercial litigation and real estate law.

I’ve been told that creativity & thinking outside the box is one of my best traits. Loves a challenge and will rise to the occasion to accomplish the most challenging of tasks. Has extensive experience in leading small and larger organizations. I have hands on experience managing high-performing teams & a demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.

Able to take organizations that have been struggling to get their work completed and turn them around to become extremely proficient organizations. Can lead/train/transition an organization from the ground up! Has a passion for innovation and organizational structure in teams, technology, and projects. Donald Caster is the President of Construction at TKC Construction Group at the Klotz Group of Companies and is responsible for overseeing daily operations implementing the strategic plan for continued operational growth.

Mr. Caster has 25 plus years of real estate executive management experience overseeing over $2 Billion dollars in assets or 20,000 multifamily units encompassing ground up development, stabilized operations, value-add re-positioning, market rate, subsidized housing, and student housing. Prior to joining The Klotz Group, Mr. Caster was the President of Operations at Sagebrush Real Estate and Investment located in Denver, Colorado. As the President of Operations, Mr. Caster oversaw daily operations of the asset management, development, construction, and operations of approximately five-hundred million in AUM, five-thousand units, and over one-hundred and twenty-five associates. Prior to Sagebrush, Mr. Caster oversaw the Anchorage, Alaska portfolio as the Vice President of Operations for the Weidner Investment Group based in Kirkland, Washington. Prior to Weidner, Mr. Caster was the National Director of Renovations at RREEF/Deutsche Bank Real Estate in Chicago where he oversaw all aspects of renovations throughout the country with assets over $300 million dollars.

A well-seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience and more than 18 years focusing on Real Estate. His responsibilities include leading property management team, acquisition funding, lead contract & leasing negotiations, stabilizing management, leasing direction, advising divestiture & rebalancing strategies, personnel management, exit strategy marketing & achieving P&L objectives for BR4 KLOTZ.

Prior to joining the Klotz Group of Companies, he was at Freedom Home Buyers as the Executive Manager for the Lead Intake, Acquisition, Project Management & Disposition teams RE investment firm focused on residential, land, MUH & mixed-use commercial located in NE Florida. He has also held positions as Managing Director for an independent investment firm whose focus is on acquiring value add Class A & B mixed use, retail, office, flex & industrial assets.

As Director of Real Estate Holdings, he was in charge of property management & customer service teams, acquire, stabilize, divest and rebalance a diverse portfolio of Class A & B office, retail, live/work/play and flex assets by effectively underwriting downside economic market risk and working with servicers such as LNR, CIII, CW Capital and their auction platform outlets to find lower levered & attractive cost basis value add assets for investment.

Tanner Ruskin

Associate

A Private Equity Professional focused on Real Estate has come on board as an Associate for BR4 KLOTZ. His main responsibilities are to develop models for operating pro-formas, acquisitions, and ground-up developments. He is involved with transaction execution and deal project management from inception, all the way to completion.

Working closely with the Asset Management team through data collection, modeling, analysis, and annual business plan and budget preparations. His responsibilities include preparing and presenting materials and analyses to the internal investment committee of BR4 KLOTZ and for Limited Partners. Tanner holds a Florida State University Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Real Estate.
